  • Let your imagination soar as Staples creates a custom center island for your home incorporating specially chosen, time-honored antique wood and select fragments of history.  Staples unique kitchen center islands are meant to stand out on their own, becoming the focal point of the kitchen.  Enjoy your guests' compliments as they admire how different and beautiful a kitchen work station can be!

  • Through the use of reclaimed materials and embracing the Japanese aesthetic tradition of "Wabi Sabi", Stephen has taken the genesis of bowl turning, as well as his creative art furniture, to a higher level.  Wabi Sabi means a reverence for the imperfect, a masterful celebration of the ordinary, arranged and orchestrated to pay homage to the grace and splendor that comes with age.  Hand turned bowls by Stephen Staples make a rare and unique gift for that special Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, Holiday and Corporate gift occasion.

  • Consider the antique door to our cupboards and armoires as an art piece, rich with patina and the embellishments of time.  It is a work of art that has taken often 250 years in its completion.  We take that work of art and frame it with function by surrounding it with a cupboard or armoire making it a piece of art history that is completely functional.

  • Each entertainment center created is uniquely handmade from components of historic fragments; whether it be floor grates, old weathered tin or flamed copper used as door panels, or a floor from a homestead circa 1750 with traces of original paint for the entertainment center's top.  The sides may be made from the side of a barn, worn from the constant bombardment of wind blown sand, etching deeply, creating a sculptured surface.  Each piece is designed by Stephen C. Staples with over 40 years experience, correctly proportioned and with time-honored joinery.
