One of our clients presented us with a wonderful barn door with a great sign attached.  He purchased this door at a country auction and thought it would make a great entertainment center.  He was right!  We took this unique piece of country folk art and framed it with function!

I painted it with our mustard color to bring out the mustard in the rusty sign.  The only way I could deal with the long strap hinges and stay within the required cupboard dimensions was to wrap the hinges around to the side of the cupboard.  Notice the extreme attention to detail in the choice of screws that I used to attached the door.  I purposely chose mismatched, rusty screws just like the originals that were still remaining on this old barn door.
