The face of this wonderful step back hutch was made from an antique painted floor.  The gray over mustard worn through to a rich patina yields a wonderful presentation of color and texture.  The door hinges were taken from a fold up garage door that we found rotted away in a field.  The tracking roller on the hinges were cut off.  The antique knobs were taken from our vast inventory.  The top molding was a cypress wood mullion bar taken from an old greenhouse turned on edge and mitered to form the crown molding.

The top serving shelf was made from unfinished antique flooring.  Once again a Staples piece has truly become furniture ART.
