We were in the process of using this drafting table base to make a table.  At the same time we had this foundry pattern table that we were going to put on a table base.  Not having decided on the type of base to use, the foundry table was resting on the drafting table base while I pursued other endeavors.  A customer came into the shop and said "I love it!".  It's so great when the creative process is serendipity!
